Indigenous Pastors Training Fund

At ICCA-IRM we believe that the most effective way to reach and disciple a nation is by assisting in training national pastors and leaders – who already know the language, culture, and customs – so that they can reach and disciple their own people for Jesus Christ.

Through your support, and as God directs, ICCA-IRM is working to strengthen, train and equip national workers and pastors around the world. The Evangelical missionary movement in the world is dramatically changing. At one time, evangelism, church planting, and discipleship was primarily undertaken by the Church in the Western World; but now, God is amazingly empowering the indigenous Church to take a major role in ministering to their own people.

At ICCA-IRM we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) as we provide training for pastors and leaders around the world. These pastors and leaders then teach, train and disciple the men, women and children under their influence and care. These indigenous Christians then continue the process of carrying out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment throughout their extended families, neighborhoods, villages, tribal areas, cities and potentially to their entire nation!

Burkina Faso Bible School Fund

You are not alone if you have never heard of Burkina Faso, and could not find  the country on a map. While Burkina and neighboring Niger are home to more than seventy different ethnic groups, the Fulani (pronounced “Foo-lah-nee”) are one of the majority groups.

Burkina Faso’s estimated population is almost 20 million. About 80% of the population relies on subsistence agriculture. The name, “Burkina Faso,” in several local languages translates as "Land of the Honest (Incorruptible) People”.  The government estimated that 60.5% of the population is Muslim (Islam), 19% are Roman Catholics and 5% are Protestant, 15.3% follow traditional indigenous beliefs (Animists), 1% have other or no religion.

Burkina Faso is blessed with religious freedom and has had some recent strong church growth in some areas. Some Muslim groups are responding to the Gospel but idolatry, fetishism, and secret societies continue to dominate daily life for many.  Regardless of the enemy’s counterfeits, there is a small, but growing Fulani Christian community.  Until 2013 there was no residential school in Burkina Faso for the intensive training of nationals to preach to their own people.

ICCA-IRM is supporting this small but valuable project to facilitate Bible training so that Fulani's can reach their own people with the gospel— students are being equipped to reach out to other Fulani in a way that Westerners cannot.

Your support is providing tuition, living expenses and internship for a 3 or 4 year training program. As part of the scholarship program students provide 10% of the total fees per year.

As part of the scholarship program, the selected students will have to provide 10% of the total fees needed for the year.
